New coat of paint!

FINALLY last spring we got our house repainted. Eric and I thought we were going to tackle the project ourselves, but when we found a GREAT deal, we had to take it! I think it turned out pretty good considering I had no experience with picking exterior colors. If you look closely, you can even see little Charro...I guess he wanted to be in the picture!

Picnic table

I finally have a table on the back porch! My parents gave me their old picnic table so I repainted it to give it a fresh look. It does the trick!

A little more updated, but not complete

It seems I have misplaced some of the pictures of our completed rooms, but here are the few I did find. These are of the living room before Eric actually moved in. I think I had just gotten the furniture set up.

This is the 2nd extra bedroom. The furniture and bedding is what I had in college. Maybe someday I'll get to change it, but for now it will have to do.

I'm pretty sure these were the only rooms that were completed before the wedding. That must be why I found these 3 and none of the others. I will keep looking...or just take new ones!

Floors Galore!!

The dining room was the first project. It was painted while the shag carpet was still down. Then quickly afterwards the shag carpet was REMOVED!!! Here is the pic that shows the "green room" as I call it.

While I was busy painting the dining room/green room, Eric was busy priming the living room. Luckily he finished priming before the new carpet was put in, but the actual paint had yet to be applied.

We decided to add tile in front of the back door and in front of the fireplace. So far it has been a great decision!

The kitchen tile and our bottle of wine to celebrate the new floors!

The guest bathroom after tile.

The master bath after tile and before grout.

All the bedrooms were carpeted as well, but the pictures just really aren't very exciting so I saved you the time. Now let's get started on some more painting and stuff!
